A caring, unhurried space to process fear, loss, anticipatory grief, and everything in between. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to, to sit with, or to be there with you when you are facing challenging moments or decisions.
I offer companionship and support for someone who is actively dying, so they (and you) don't face it alone. This may be in-home, at the hospital, in Hospice, or in a Long-Term Care Facility.
Help with thinking through end-of-life wishes, exploring legacy projects , or assistance with those difficult discussions and decisions.
This is not legal advice or guidance, but rather support to help you, or your loved one, know where to start.
Guiding families through the immediate steps after a death in BC, including:
~What to do in the first hours and days
~Working with funeral homes and BC Vital Statistics to register the death
~Notifying government agencies
~Understanding probate and estate basics
~Cancelling accounts, subscriptions, and memberships.
When the time comes to deal with the belongings, you don't have to do it alone. Using the TheraPurge™ method, time and care will be given to ensure you do not feel rushed or overwhelmed by the process.
There is no one right way to grieve, and no single right way to die. My role is simply to be a knowledgeable, gentle guide — handling the details when you can't, and sitting with you in the hard moments when that's what's needed most.
You are not alone in this.
An End of Life Consultation is simply an opportunity to talk through what you need and how I can best support you.
